Join us at NCAEP’s Quarterly Meeting!

NCAEP brings together individuals across the state who want to see a greener tomorrow. Join us and leaders across North Carolina to network, learn, and make a difference at our Quarterly Meeting of the North Carolina Agricultural Energy Partnership (NCAEP) on Thursday, July 29th, 2010 in Clinton, NC.

Those attending the meeting will have an opportunity to tour Orbit Energy’s High Solids Anaerobic Digestion (HSAD) facility operated in Sampson County, and will meet there at 10:00am, prior to the meeting. This facility converts a wide variety of solid organic wastes into biogas/electricity and compost. After the tour of the Orbit Energy facility, we will meet at Coharie Country Club in Clinton for the NCAEP Meeting around 11:00am.

We are pleased to announce that we will have two guest speakers. An Orbit Energy representative will present an overview of their business model to build, own, and operate regional HSAD power plants in the U.S. Following this presentation, there will be a Prestage Farms representative who will discuss how they are utilizing a biomass boiler. Both speakers will be available for any comments or questions regarding the topics that will be discussed.
