The History of NCAEP

Established in 2004 the North Carolina Agricultural Energy Partnership strives to recognize, educate, and promote renewable and green energy sources through support of North Carolina’s agricultural assets. NCAEP brought together individuals from various North Carolina counties who were interested in finding alternative means to produce energy. These individuals include representatives of the state’s energy providers, state government officials, a number of agricultural extension agents and members of the poultry industry. NCAEP currently strives to identify, instruct, and advance renewable and green energy sources through support of all of North Carolina’s agricultural assets and looks forward to what is in store for their exciting renewable energy future.
